U.S. to reopen land and air border to fully vaccinated foreign nationals subject to U.S. COVID-19 travel bans as of November 8th.
As previously reported, the Biden Administration will lift the travel bans affecting millions of foreign nationals allowing fully vaccinated international travelers to enter the U.S.. The effected date will be November 8, 2021.
- FDA Authorized/Approved: Moderna, Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer-BioNTech.
- WHO Approved: Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer-BioNTech, Oxford-AstraZeneca/Covishield, Sinopharm, and Sinovac.
It is expected that international air and land travelers, with an oficial record evidencing full series of acceptable vaccines (including name of manufacturer, dates of receipt) will be permitted to enter the United States.
The U.S. may also include blanket waivers or exceptions to the vaccination requirements as recommended by the CDC and similar to those issued for green card applicants submitting Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record.
